Italy provides so many locations to visit and stay. Choose an itinerary that offers Milan, Lake Como, Lake Garda, Verona, and Venice. Or travel further south and enjoy Florence, Lucca, and Pisa with trips to the coastline of Cinque Terra or even consider San Marino. Or choose to stay in Rome then onto Naples, Pompeii, and the Amalfi coast.
With so much to see and do Italy provides some incredible off field experiences. Take a gondola tour of Venice's canals or enjoy the historic splendor of Rome with the Coliseum, Forum and of course the Vatican City. Enjoy a food and wine tasting trip in Tuscany before a tour of Florence and it’s incredible cathedral. Take a boat tour on beautiful Lake Como to Bellagio or stop off at Verona to see the famous balcony or Romeo and Juliet.
Depart from the USA on an overnight flight to Milan.
Arrive at Milan International airport and meet your GSE Staff and bilingual tour guides.
After collecting your luggage transfer to Lake Garda. Free time and lunch on your own.
Check into your hotel in Lake Garda/Verona region and dinner then training session with your own coaches.
After breakfast players have a practice session with coaches from a local professional club while parents can explore the town of Verona on their own.
Free time and lunch on your own then Verona.
Play your first match against local opposition.
After breakfast travel to Venice then transfer to St. Mark’s square by private boat.
Tour of the city with a bilingual guide then free time in the city center.
Transfer back to the Lake Garda/Verona area and play your second match against a local team at their academy facility.
After breakfast early departure to Tuscany with a stop in the Tuscany hills for a food/wine tasting experience.
Travel on to your hotel in Montecatini.
Check-in to your next hotel then dinner.
Players and coaching staff transfer to Coverciano the Italian National Soccer Federation Centre for a pro-training session while parents have free time in Florence.
Take a professionally guided tour of Florence and visit all the major sights of this open-air museum!
Return to hotel for dinner.
Breakfast at the hotel and depart to Lucca to enjoy a bike tour of the city and all its winding streets and alleyways!
Lunch on your own in the city center and transfer to northern Italy to play your final match of the tour.
Dinner and overnight at your new hotel in Milan/Como.
Following breakfast, transfer to Milan city center. Enjoy downtown Milan, the Dome square, Piazza San Babila and Corso Buenos Aires
Lunch on own then in transfer to Casa Milan, for a visit of the interactive museum of AC Milan, HQ, and official shop.
Optional live game. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Milan/Como.
After breakfast transfer to Lugano city center - enjoy free time in the old pedestrian area and possibility to experience boat excursions. Or enjoy the VIP Lake Como with a walking city center, boat trip or a cable tour.
Lunch on your own and later transfer to San Siro Stadium, the European soccer cathedral.
Watch a live game SERIEA A FC Inter or AC Milan then Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Breakfast and hotel check out. Departure to Milano International Airport in time to catch your flight back home!
Set up a call with one of our Experience Directors to go over the goals of your travel, where do you want to go, what are the best dates, what do you want to do when you get there? We will then plan your itinerary and set up a presentation with your group by video or in person. This is a great chance to discuss the schedule in more detail and highlight how Global Sports Experiences can ensure your international event meets everyone's expectations.
Once your group decides to go ahead with the event, we will send an email from our registration system containing a link to your own unique web page. This page contains additional information and instructions on how to complete the traveler registration process. This email will guide you through the necessary steps to ensure smooth and efficient registration for the event, allowing you to focus on preparing for an unforgettable experience.
We will continue to send out communications and information via your own unique registration page. As we get closer to your departure date, we will set up another meeting with the group to go over final preparations. This last meeting might include details on what to pack, accommodation, confirmed games, sightseeing events and much more. We will also provide details on the tour staff who will be managing the day-to-day events of your experience and will meet you on your arrival.
