This summer, AYSO Rancho Conejo traveled to England with Global Sports Experiences for a week packed with soccer, sightseeing, and unforgettable memories.

From the moment the group landed, the trip was a mix of competition and culture. The team jumped right into the heart of English football—catching a live Premier League atmosphere, training with top coaches, and playing competitive matches against respected academies like Wycombe Wanderers and Fowler Academy. Along the way, Rancho Conejo players showed resilience, earning their first win in Stevenage and holding their own against some of the strongest youth players in the Liverpool area.

But this trip was about more than results on the field. Families and players bonded while exploring iconic destinations like Windsor Castle, Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, and the historic streets of Chester. They embraced true English traditions—fish and chips in Wales, high tea (pinky fingers optional), and even a stop at the world-famous Turf Pub in Wrexham. Stops in London and Liverpool offered a taste of two of England’s most vibrant football cities, with visits to Chelsea FC’s stadium, the Cavern Club, and the legendary Old Trafford for a matchday experience.

The highlight, though, was the sense of connection. Players celebrated victories with pizza, shared laughs navigating city traffic, and created friendships with opponents after the final whistle. Parents and coaches joined in, making it a true family experience that went far beyond the game.

By the time the team packed up to return home, they had gained more than just soccer experience—they had created memories that will last a lifetime. For Rancho Conejo, this was more than a trip; it was a chance to grow as players, teammates, and people, all while living the dream of experiencing soccer at its source.
