EXPERIENCES EDINBURGH GLASGOW

From November 26 – December 2, 2025, several Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) teams will embark on an incredible journey to England for a one-of-a-kind team experience! From Manchester to Liverpool, this trip combines elite soccer, professional club exposure, and cultural exploration — giving players, coaches, and families memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 1: Arrival and First Impressions

Wednesday, November 26, kicks off with arrivals into Manchester Airport, followed by a visit to the National Football Museum for those arriving early. After checking into the iconic Hotel Football, players and families have the chance to explore Old Trafford, take photos at the Munich Tunnel, and browse the club shop. The evening features an exciting kickoff to the trip: watching Blackburn Rovers vs QPR at Ewood Park, including access to the 95 Club with a two-course meal and a chance to meet a player with a signed jersey.

Day 2: Training, Tours, and Cultural Exploration

Thursday, November 27, brings players onto the pitch for a Blackburn Rovers training session, with a post-practice tour and Q&A with the coaches. Meanwhile, supporters can enjoy a day trip to historic Chester, with shopping, sightseeing, and free time. The day continues with a Manchester City Etihad Stadium tour, giving everyone the chance to see one of the Premier League’s most iconic venues up close.  Group dinner back at the hotel with free time although options could include team meetings to prepare for the upcoming games or workshops with guest speakers.

Day 3: Stadium Tours and Matches

Friday, November 28, features tours of Manchester United Stadium for both boys and girls, followed by competitive match play. Boys take on Manchester Grammar School, while girls face Stoke City in the evening, offering an exciting opportunity to test skills against top-level opponents. Dinner wraps up the day with a finger-food buffet — perfect for sharing highlights from the games.

Day 4: Mini Tournament and Premier League Excitement

Saturday, November 29, begins with a mini tournament at the hotel, mixing boys and girls for a fun and competitive morning. The afternoon includes a trip to watch Manchester City vs Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium, giving players and families a live Premier League experience. Later, the group will enjoy the festive Manchester Christmas Market, rounding out a day of soccer, culture, and holiday cheer.

Day 5: Competitive Matches

Both teams have competitive games with the girls heading south to play Derby County Girls.  After the game they will then stay to watch Yas Mason, GSE staff member, as she plays for Derby County Ladies against Wolverhampton Wanderers in professional league play.  Meanwhile the boys travel to play against Blackburn Rovers Academy in the morning.  After the game there is free time in Manchester or back to the hotel to watch the English Premier League fixtures. Both teams will then meet up at the hotel for Sunday dinner.

Day 6: Competitive Matches and Liverpool Adventures

Both teams will travel to Liverpool to train with Tosh Farrrell and Mike Dickinson who are 2 of the most celebrated coaches in the game having worked at the international and professional level with some of the most famous names in football.  Whilst the players are training the supporters will enjoy a guided bus tour around all the famous sights of Liverpool and the home of the Beatles.  PLayers and supporters will then meet for free time in Liverpool city center before heading to Anfield for our final stadium tour of the trip as we visit the home of the reigning Premier League Champions.  Finally the girls and boys teams will play their last game of the trip before heading back to the hotel for dinner and closing ceremony.

Day 7: Farewell

Tuesday, December 2, concludes the trip with departures from Manchester Airport, marking the end of an unforgettable week of soccer, culture, and camaraderie.

This trip is more than just games — it’s an immersive soccer experience that combines professional training, match play, Premier League exposure, and the chance to explore some of England’s most historic cities. We can’t wait to see our FYSA players create lifelong memories on and off the field!
