Business Development Senior Manager

Job Overview:
Global Sports Experiences is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Senior Manager to drive global sales and expand our team travel and international tournament business. In this role, you will focus on identifying and securing new clients, building lasting relationships with sports teams, and increasing our presence in key international markets.

Location: Remote
Salary Range: Competitive base + Commission

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement global sales strategies to drive revenue growth in team travel and international sports tournaments.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and engage with sports/soccer clubs, schools, and organizations to sell our travel packages and tournament experiences.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including international tournament organizers, sports clubs, and travel agencies.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively source new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events.
  • Account Management: Manage client accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention while identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of all travel and tournament packages.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance, report on key metrics, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets.

 

  • Experience: 3-5+ years in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in sports travel, event management, or the hospitality industry.
  • Sales: Track record of and confidence in the Sales environment
  • Networking Skills: Strong connections in the sports world (teams, leagues, tournaments) are a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior executives.
  • Self-motivation: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Passion for Sports: A genuine interest in sports and travel is essential.
  • Base salary: Competitive  (dependent on experience)
  • Competitive commission structure based on meeting and exceeding sales targets
