Georgios Kalotinis grew up in Heraklion, Crete, Greece, and played football long before he thought about working in it. After a degree in Business Administration at the University of Piraeus, he moved to Valencia for a Master’s in International Sports Management at ESBS. He also holds a FIFA Football Agent licence, a reflection of how seriously he takes the professional side of the game – and of a love for football that goes far beyond the job.

As Director of Operations for Spain Events at GSE, Georgios is responsible for the delivery of the company’s tournaments and experiences across Spain. When international teams arrive from around the world, he is the person on the ground making sure it works, from arrivals and accommodation to the last bus back to the airport. He is also part of GSE’s partnerships and sponsorship work, helping expand the network across Spain and beyond.

Favorite Travel Destination:

“Crete will always be home, so it’s hard to be objective about it. Valencia holds a special place for me too – a beautiful, warm city, full of football, like Spain as a whole. Boston was one of my favourite trips so far, and I’d happily go back. Wherever I go, the first thing I look for is a match to watch. You learn a lot about a place from how it treats its football.”
