Off the pitch, players and families had the opportunity to explore the vibrant city of Tangier—from camel rides and bustling souks to panoramic views of the Mediterranean. For many, it was their first time experiencing North African culture, and the memories made extended far beyond the final whistle.

The event was also honored by a strong local reception from the Moroccan Olympic Committee and regional sports authorities, who welcomed the tournament as an important international showcase for youth development and cross-cultural exchange.

“This tournament continues to grow in scale, quality, and impact,” said Tommaso Trevisan, Tournament Director. “Bringing together teams from different countries and backgrounds creates something truly special—both on and off the field. Morocco has proven to be an incredible host, and we’re proud of the experience we were able to deliver to all participating clubs and families.”

As the Surf Cup International series continues to expand worldwide, Morocco has quickly become one of its most dynamic and inspiring stops. We can’t wait to return June 25-28, 2026 for another round of elite football and unforgettable memories in Tangier.
